Your Donation Makes a Difference

The Sankaty Head Caddie Program has many wonderful traditions, developed and nurtured over nearly a century since it was founded. Our ability to continue these traditions and ensure that we stay true to our mission is only possible because of another tradition that has taken hold over the decades – the generosity of the Sankaty Head Golf Club membership, program alumni, and friends from around the world. The cost of attending the caddie program is minimal – just a small daily fee assessed to each caddie to help defray the cost of meals. All other expenses associated with the running of the facility, including the awarding of over $500,000 a year in educational scholarships, are supported in full by charitable contributions.

There are many ways you can contribute to SHCP: gifts of cash, appreciated properties, or valuable personal property.

• Gifts may be made with a check payable to the Sankaty Head Foundation, or by ACH or Zelle.

• Enjoy the tax benefits of giving appreciated securities, mutual fund shares, and other types of property.

• You may transfer commercial property, a residence, or other real estate holdings to The Sankaty Head Foundation.

 

A planned gift allows you to leave a lasting legacy while increasing your income and reducing your estate and/or income taxes.

Gifts-in-kind that represent a donation of tangible personal property.

 

You may double or even triple the impact of your gift to the Sankaty Head Caddie Program through your employer’s matching gift program.
