Wake up, shower, breakfast; clean huts in order of cumulative inspection score of hut the previous week

"First Bench" caddies go to Caddie Bench
8:00 AM
Inspection of quarters
8:15 AM
Flag raising, morning quarters, and work party (daily chores around the facility)
9:30 AM
Caddying all day
2:00 PM
Bench closes

Sconset afternoon liberty

Return from liberty

Caddies have at least one day a week off except for special tournaments like the Member-Guest tournament in August where every caddie has a "loop" for 63 holes that weekend. The summer ends with the Annual Caddie Banquet attended by all caddies, Sankaty Head Foundation board members, and other Sankaty members. Annual academic scholarships and sports prizes are awarded at the Banquet.

Work Hard, Play Hard
Since our program’s inception, we’ve always been rooted in providing a space where boys can learn, grow, and explore. While our program is centered around caddying, we also make sure there’s plenty of time for boys to be boys. Our caddies often enjoy their free time at the beach, sailing, playing flag football, and a whole range of other activities that keep their minds and bodies sharp throughout the summer.
